About The Position
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automotive care and possess a keen eye for detail. This role involves performing comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning and detailing services to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards of presentation, whether for showroom display or customer delivery. You will be responsible for using a variety of tools and chemicals to restore and maintain the appearance of vehicles, including cleaning engine compartments and exterior components. A strong understanding of detailing products, automotive surfaces, and safety protocols is essential. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, detailing products, and automotive surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment.
- Ability to operate buffers, polishers, vacuums, steam cleaners, and other detailing equipment safely.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, cleaning upholstery, dashboards, door panels, and other interior surfaces.
- Apply stain removers, conditioners, and protective treatments to leather or vinyl surfaces.
- Wash, wax, polish, and buff vehicle exteriors.
- Remove minor scratches, dents, and blemishes from vehicle exteriors.
- Apply protective coatings to paint and trim.
- Clean engine compartments using steam or specialized cleaners.
- Restore the appearance of tires, rims, and other exterior components.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, or defects.
- Report any identified issues to management.
- Ensure vehicles meet showroom or customer standards.
- Operate buffers, polishers, vacuums, steam cleaners, and other detailing equipment safely.
- Handle cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean workspaces and organize tools.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
