About The Position
Larry H Miller Honda Boise is seeking Detailers to help run their car wash service lane. This role is crucial in preparing vehicles for customer delivery after a sale or service, ensuring they meet excellent preventative maintenance standards. The position involves a variety of cleaning duties for both the exterior and interior of vehicles. Exterior detailing includes cleaning, restoring, and exceeding the original condition of the car's finish, chrome trim, windows, wheels, and tires, as well as drying the exterior and other visible components. Interior detailing involves cleaning floor mats, upholstery, vacuuming seats and flooring, cleaning compartments, and ensuring windows are clean. The goal is to ensure the interior is dry to prevent mildew and that the cabin is clean and smells good using deodorizing products. Detailers will be responsible for washing, drying, and detailing vehicles for customer delivery and preparing them for lot inventory, while maintaining Asbury quality standards.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow manufacturer recommended procedures.
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand on feet for a long period of time.
- Ability to perform bending and lifting light items.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test).
Responsibilities
- Washing, drying, and detailing vehicles for customer delivery.
- Preparing vehicles for lot inventory.
- Cleaning, restoring, or exceeding the original condition of the car's finish, chrome trim, windows, wheels, and tires.
- Drying the exterior of vehicles.
- Cleaning floor mats, upholstery, seats, flooring, and compartments.
- Cleaning interior windows.
- Ensuring the interior is dry to prevent mildew.
- Ensuring the cabin of the vehicle is clean and smells good using deodorizing products.
- Maintaining Asbury quality standards.
