About The Position

As a Detail Technician I, you’ll help prepare vehicles for sale by cleaning, detailing and inspecting them to meet auction-ready standards. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to lift and hold at least 30 pounds at the waist level for an extended period of time
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk and hear in a variety of environments
  • Ability to crouch, bend and kneel to inspect side or underside of vehicles
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in an automotive, auction or related operational setting
  • High school diploma/GED

Responsibilities

  • Clean, detail and restore vehicle interiors and exteriors using professional tools, equipment and cleaning products.
  • Perform deep-cleaning tasks, including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing and detailing all vehicle interiors, exteriors, engines, wheels and trim.
  • Prepare vehicles for sale by removing non-essential items, organizing materials (such as owner’s manuals) and completing final quality inspections.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Assist with moving and staging vehicles, including driving vehicles within the auction area as needed.
