About The Position
The Detail Specialist plays a critical role in the production of high-quality fiberglass pools and spas, ensuring each product is crafted to perfection. This hands-on position involves using hand tools and portable power tools to trim, grind, repair, and clean molded fiberglass products. Specialists maintain a focus on quality control by examining finishes, performing repairs, and smoothing surfaces to achieve flawless results. The role demands a commitment to safety, proper handling of hazardous chemicals, and maintaining a clean work environment while supporting team production goals.
Requirements
- Proficiency in trimming and grinding rough fiberglass.
- Ability to make precise cuts and through holes for assembly installation.
- Skilled in smoothing surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Skilled in checking fiberglass thickness.
- Skilled in examining finishes for defects.
- Experience in performing repairs such as drilling, patching, repainting, and buffing ground-out areas.
- Experienced in using hand tools and portable power tools with precision.
- Strong adherence to safe practices, including proper handling of hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to assist in controlling material usage.
- Collaborative approach with flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned.
