About The Position

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is seeking a Detail Parts Inspector for its location in Carrollton, TX. This role is responsible for the dimensional inspection of engine parts to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, customer specifications, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company quality standards. The inspector will perform dimensional and visual inspections throughout the repair process and verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation before parts are released for service.

Requirements

• Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturer's instructions, drawings, and technical documents.
• Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components.
• Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components.
• Perform inspection of incoming parts and final inspection of articles.
• Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by Prime Turbines.
• Ensure the Work Order packages contain the required documents and forms.
