Detail Designer (Engineer/Technologist)
About The Position
As a Detail Designer at Fleetway, you will play a key role in transforming complex ship designs into accurate 2D production drawings that support the build and sustainment of client vessels. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will develop and interpret detailed drawings for equipment installations, foundations, mechanical and electrical systems, and primary structure, ensuring all deliverables meet shipyard, regulatory, and industry standards. In this role, you will contribute directly to the technical foundation of major naval and marine programs. You’ll collaborate closely with peers across disciplines and be part of a team committed to continuous improvement, technical growth, and quality excellence. This position is open to candidates at all experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned industry professionals. - Must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Government Security Clearance.
