Detail Associate
About The Position
Milton Martin Toyota is hiring a Full-Time Detail Associate to join our award-winning dealership in Gainesville, GA. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in automotive detailing, vehicle reconditioning, car washing, dealership operations, automotive service, custodial services, hospitality, or other hands-on roles requiring attention to detail and quality workmanship. As a Detail Associate, you'll prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery and display by ensuring every vehicle meets dealership appearance standards. Your work helps create an outstanding first impression for customers and supports the success of our Sales team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, vehicle preparation, car washing, or a similar role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and strong sense of responsibility
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform complete interior and exterior detailing on new and pre-owned vehicles
- Vacuum, shampoo, and clean carpets, upholstery, seats, dashboards, door panels, and interior surfaces
- Wash, dry, buff, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors as needed
- Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and trim to dealership presentation standards
- Complete pre-wash preparation and final quality inspections for sold vehicles
- Wash and maintain dealership inventory displayed on the sales lot
- Inspect vehicles to determine appropriate detailing and cleaning needs
- Maintain efficient turnaround times while delivering high-quality results
- Keep the detail department clean, organized, and safe
- Properly handle, label, and store detailing chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies
