About The Position
As a Destruction Center Specialist for Access, you will be a key part of our fast-growing company in delivering the very best customer experience to our clients. You will be responsible for processing and destroying all materials delivered to the records center.
Requirements
- The physical ability to lift boxes, recycling bins and materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift and/pick lift certification an asset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the recycling bins and boxes full of confidential documents which need to be shredded.
- Sort the materials and documents by grade and make sure to discard rubbish.
- Transfer the documents from the recycling bins and boxes into the shredding machine.
- Prepare the shredded documents to be delivered to a recycling vendor.
- Assist the Transportation Specialists in loading and unloading the company vehicles.
- Perform any other tasks and projects assigned by your Supervisor.
