About The Position

The Destination Planner & Concierge is a dynamic, service-oriented professional responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences while managing the day-to-day operations of Inspirato luxury residences. This role combines personalized concierge service with hands-on property management, including conducting routine inspections, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring homes meet brand standards for quality, safety, and appearance. Based in Charleston, the ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and familiar with local activities and resources, capable of anticipating member needs and maintaining operational excellence to ensure a seamless and memorable stay. A passion for luxury service, pride in operational rigor, and meticulous attention to detail are essential to consistently elevating the Inspirato experience. Success in this role requires strict adherence to standard operating procedures and checklists, along with a disciplined, proactive approach to residential property care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in hospitality management or business administration
  • Hospitality and guest service experience, including solid knowledge of the local area.
  • Honest, respectful, trustworthy, dependable, caring, and fun.
  • Excellent employee and member interaction.
  • Organization and high level of attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent oral, and written communication and listening skills.
  • Upbeat, positive disposition with a genuine “can do” attitude.
  • Proficient with communication technology (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and chat applications)
  • Flexible schedule, including long days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle with a valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Submitting expense reports on time and completing tasks for each arrival.
  • Managing time appropriately, prioritizing tasks, and working efficiently to complete job requirements within a 40-hour work week.
  • Ensuring consistent communication with the designated Manager for questions or concerns regarding property management, pre-arrival planning, member services, and member satisfaction and resolutions.
  • Maintaining an unwavering commitment to service excellence by upholding luxury standards in all aspects of guest service, communication, and property presentation.
  • Executing each task with precision and pride, ensuring every detail reflects Inspirato’s commitment to elevated hospitality.
  • Providing extraordinary service delivery for members from planning to execution to create memorable experiences by staying abreast of new updates and procedural changes.
  • Creating/reviewing customized itineraries, including managing all vendor communication to reserve activities utilizing Inspirato systems.
  • Maintaining consistent and constant communication with members to ensure all their needs and wants are met.
  • Providing accurate and knowledgeable information on the destination the member is visiting.
  • Reviewing member profiles with special notes and reaching out to the planner or Member Success Director for clarification.
  • Stocking the home with groceries and staging it for arrival.
  • Finalizing personalized itineraries with the Personal Vacation Advisor and guests.
  • Conducting pre-arrival inspections to identify and resolve issues prior to guest arrival, ensuring asset health and home readiness to Inspirato standards, paying particular attention to cleanliness and consumables levels.
  • Performing light maintenance items prior to arrival, during a member stay, and when the home is vacant.
  • Delivering and presenting groceries, meeting and greeting guests, reviewing itineraries, confirming housekeeping schedules, handling ROAF, and managing last-minute changes.
  • Being accessible for all special requests and on-call emergencies.
  • Performing daily in-person check-ins with the member to ensure satisfaction and to inspect housekeeping service completion and quality.
  • Preparing incidental folios for guests.
  • Presenting guests with incidental folios for signature, confirming departure and transport times, assisting with luggage and transportation, and issuing a thank-you letter or personal note.
  • Conducting check-out inspections to identify any damages and begin preparing the residence for the next arrival.
  • Submitting a recap and sharing stories/photos.
  • Following all property management checklists and SOPs with precision, ensuring no detail is overlooked in the preparation, maintenance, and inspection of each residence.
  • Performing scheduled pre-arrival walkthroughs to identify and resolve maintenance issues and maintain asset health and appearance.
  • Scheduling preventive maintenance programs and responding to corrective maintenance needs.
  • Promptly responding to any identified or requested maintenance within 24 hours by a trained and uniformed service professional.
  • Taking full ownership of property condition and presentation, executing all maintenance, inspections, and staging responsibilities with rigor and consistency.
  • Demonstrating a strong sense of pride in delivering high-touch, detail-oriented service.
  • Following established checklists and procedures with discipline and precision.
  • Maintaining a mindset of consistency, hospitality, and proactive service.
