About The Position

Join a global technology-driven organization supporting critical manufacturing and business operations. This onsite IT team helps keep employees, devices, and local infrastructure operating reliably across multiple facilities. The environment combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with customer-facing support, cybersecurity compliance, endpoint management, and local infrastructure projects, making this a strong opportunity to build broad enterprise IT experience. This is a year-long assignment offering exposure to enterprise desktop support, endpoint security, networking, mobility, and manufacturing IT operations.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of desktop support, deskside support, or IT help desk experience.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Windows 10/11 and troubleshooting end-user hardware and software.
  • Understand Active Directory, including basic computer and user account administration.
  • Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable configuring, deploying, imaging, and replacing desktops and laptops.
  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently onsite while following established IT and cybersecurity procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to endpoint security or management platforms such as Tanium and CrowdStrike is highly valuable.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, mobile device support, printing, and collaboration technology is beneficial.
  • Manufacturing or large enterprise IT support experience is preferred.
  • An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience may also qualify.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary onsite IT resource for end users, resolving desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system while escalating more complex infrastructure issues appropriately.
  • Configure, image, deploy, replace, and troubleshoot Windows computers and manufacturing workstations.
  • Perform Active Directory administration, device configuration, access setup, and domain-related support.
  • Help maintain endpoint security and management technologies, including Tanium and CrowdStrike.
  • Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless, switch-port, and network connectivity issues.
  • Support mobile devices, SOTI device management, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft 365, and printing services.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories and assist with endpoint, Active Directory, security, backup, and access audits.
  • Participate in local IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, equipment installations, and moves/adds/changes.
  • Educate users on corporate technology standards, security requirements, device usage, and available IT services.
