About The Position

A growing organization in Milford is seeking a hands-on, proactive Desktop Support Technician to join their onsite IT operations. This role is designed to streamline front-end support and reduce reliance on external deployment resources, with a clear ROI tied to a structured PC replacement schedule and potential project participation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of support experience ideally in a mix of helpdesk situations and onsite roles
  • Familiarity with macOS support and strong windows background
  • Some server familiarity/understanding of IT business concepts.
  • Strong PC hardware/software troubleshooting skills as well as application skills
  • General networking knowledge; certification preferred or planned within first year
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Network+, Comptia A+, Microsoft or other vendor certifications preferred
  • Server experience desired
  • 365 administration/experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform desktop and laptop installations, replacements, and troubleshooting
  • Assist users and be the front end of the support experience
  • Work and resolve reactive tickets and work on proactive tasks as designated by the business and external IT provider
  • Provide onsite support for end users across Windows and macOS environments
  • Handle basic equipment swaps and front-line technical issues
  • Occasionally support off-hours requests based on QTL’s operational needs
