This role is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based computers and various peripheral devices, as well as all business applications. The position involves architecting desktop application and wireless/network solutions, creating printer mappings for clinical systems, and escalating errors to manufacturers as needed. The Desktop Support Engineer II will manage user errors and requests through the IT/Facilities help desk ticketing system, document daily tasks, create user documentation, and track company assets. A key aspect of the role is to understand and demonstrate that IT's main purpose is to help others perform their jobs better, more efficiently, and more securely, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and confidentiality.
