About The Position

Essential Job Functions: • Administers, installs, and supports computer hardware and software through on-site and remote connections by performing installation and configuration of all I.T. equipment (i.e. workstation computers, printers, terminals, etc. - excluding servers and associated devices) and making it network ready. Performs maintenance and troubleshoots problems associated with desktops, laptops, workstations, scanners, printers, etc. Maintains networked and other distributed computer systems at a high level of reliability and flexibility. Integrates hardware and software needs for the network. Provides overall support of the networked software, hardware and network devices. • Maintains network documentation by creating/maintaining system documentation. • Trains customers on effective use of the desktop and MS Office Suite products. • Complies with all facility policies and procedures including but not limited to those addressing HIPPA and Compliance. • Demonstrates at all times a professional attitude and acceptable job performance for all duties, tasks, responsibilities, and assignments for this position at any location or assignment that supports the operational needs of El Rio Community Health Center and as assigned by organizational leadership. • Evaluates problems, situations, or issues presented to the employee for priority needs, resolving the problem effectively and in a timely manner using critical thinking and problem solving skills appropriate to the position and authority of a Support Tech II. • Maintains exceptional level of customer service; addresses and resolves complaints; serves as an example by providing excellent service to internal and external customers, employees and patients. Demonstrates and models El Rio Behavioral Standards in all interactions with patients, co-workers, and visitors • Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills as applied when interacting with patients or visitors, employees, and internal/external clients or representatives, successfully conveying and exchanging information in a positive manner. • Serving at all times as a positive and effective role model to patients, coworkers, employees, and students. • Participating in a learning environment by being willing to train and learn from other employees, gaining new skills and knowledge to enhance and improve the quality of service provided to employees, as well as all internal/external clients or representatives. Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, comprehend, and comply with written documents or instructions furnished through various modes including written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.
  • Ability to compose and prepare professional written reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to listen, communicate, and interact with a wide range of diverse individuals and personalities in a professional manner at all times.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Internet required;
  • Working knowledge with Office 365.
  • Working knowledge with Anti-virus, Malware, and encryption.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Knowledge and experience with Audio/Visual hardware.
  • Knowledge and use of web conferencing applications.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Effective communication, strong organizational skills, good time management skills.
