About The Position

Key Responsibilities Perform laptop and desktop refresh activities, including hardware installation, software configuration, and troubleshooting. Provide on-site technical support. Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate documentation of equipment inventory, service requests, and completed work. Collaborate closely with IT team members to escalate and resolve technical issues as needed. Ensure all work complies with hospital policies, procedures, and security standards. Support IT initiatives such as deployments, upgrades, and hardware replacements. Qualifications CompTIA A+ certification If you are working towards your A+ that will also work. Proven experience in a field services or technical support role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with medical and non-technical staff. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications preferred. Previous experience supporting IT in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Working Conditions Must be able to lift, move, and install computer equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals). Additional Skills & Qualifications Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Adaptability: Comfortable responding to unexpected issues in a dynamic hospital environment. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for documenting work and explaining technical issues. Technical Certifications: CompTIA A+ (required); Network+ or similar certifications are advantageous. Basic Networking Knowledge: Understanding of network connectivity, hardware, and troubleshooting. Security Awareness: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices
