About The Position

We are looking for 2 qualified Tier I Technical Support resources to join their team on a contract to hire. One person will support main campus and the other person will support the offsite clinic locations and be required to travel. Requirement of 2 years’ IT experience (if they have Associates or Bachelor’s, they would need only 1 year of experience). They can make some exceptions on that depending on education. They would really like candidates that have at least 1 year of IT experience even with either degree. The PC Tech team provides tier I support tickets that are escalated from the Helpdesk and will be customer facing. Candidates need to have a familiarity with hardware. They will follow a centralized processes for building out laptops, desktops, and thin clients. They are heavy on thin clients (Editing, configuring, setting it up.) They have wall cabinets (cabinet mounts on wall with motor that goes up and down, keyboard tray that comes up and down). Those are inside patient rooms. WOW’s. iPhones. Need to be able to look up machines in Active Directory, OU associations, etc. Windows 10/11 environment. FMOL uses ServiceNow ticketing system. This position will start off focused on tickets to get them acclimated to the environment, and techs can also volunteer for certain projects as well. Offsite Team - The offsite position is doing the same type of work but for their ambulatory/outpatient sites (aka clinics). Offsite team is separate from the onsite team. Currently a team of 7 on the offsite team with a supervisor. Team handles from New Rhodes to Donaldsonville. Each tech is assigned a zone within this territory. There is a set schedule, and the team knows where they are going. The team will come into the office at main campus first. Ttake calls, troubleshoot remotely if possible, and then go out into the field if needed. All hardware and technologies are standardized across the board at all FMOL hospitals and clinics. The clinics are typically open from 7:30am – 5pm. Should not be any after hours or weekend work. This team typically works from 8am-4:30pm.
