Job Summary The Systems Analyst supports, administers, and improves assigned business and clinical information systems across the organization. The role partners with operational stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to analyze requirements, resolve system issues, maintain reliable application performance, and coordinate system changes. The Systems Analyst also supports user access, testing, documentation, training, and ongoing system optimization while helping ensure the security, availability, and integrity of organizational information systems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of systems analysis, application support, change management, testing, documentation, and incident-resolution practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, Windows-based systems, and common enterprise technology tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and communicate clear recommendations.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into documented system requirements and technical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with users, technical teams, leaders, and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately safeguard sensitive business, employee, and patient information.
  • Ability to participate in scheduled after-hours support, system changes, or on-call activities as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Required) Or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience to include a combination of relevant education and progressively responsible information systems experience in lieu of degree requirement (May be Considered)
  • 2+ years experience supporting, administering, implementing, or analyzing information systems (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant application, vendor, IT service management, project management, or information security certification preferred. Upon Hire (Preferred)
  • Prior Experience with application support, system configuration, user access administration, testing, documentation, and end-user training (Preferred)
  • Prior Experience Healthcare information systems experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provides functional and technical support for assigned applications and systems, including issue investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation.
  • Manages, prioritizes, documents, and resolves service requests and incidents in accordance with established service standards.
  • Analyzes business and user requirements; documents current-state and future-state processes; and recommends practical system solutions.
  • Configures and maintains application settings, workflows, interfaces, scheduled jobs, user profiles, and other assigned system components within approved standards.
  • Administers user accounts and access permissions and supports periodic access reviews to help ensure appropriate security and segregation of duties.
  • Monitors application performance, system availability, interfaces, and batch processes; identifies trends and coordinates corrective action as needed.
  • Coordinates system upgrades, patches, enhancements, testing, validation, implementation, and post-deployment support.
  • Develops test plans and scripts, facilitates user acceptance testing, documents results, and verifies that changes meet defined requirements.
  • Creates and maintains system documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, configuration records, and training materials.
  • Provides user training, consultation, and guidance to promote effective and consistent use of assigned systems.
  • Serves as a liaison among end users, Information Technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders during implementations, upgrades, and problem resolution.
  • Supports business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and downtime procedures for assigned systems.
  • Participates in projects and process-improvement initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.
