About The Position

Stefanini is a global provider of IT services, including application development, IT infrastructure outsourcing (help desk and desktop services), systems integration, consulting, and strategic staffing. We are seeking a Deskside Technician II to support IT equipment in a large corporate environment. This role involves providing desktop/laptop tech support for both Mac and PC, supporting Windows 11 operating systems, and assisting with mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless, VPN, and more. The technician will also handle IMAC support (Install/Move/Add/Change), maintain repairs, spare parts, and components, research and troubleshoot problems, maintain system configurations and documentation, and track/resolve customer incidents using a ticketing tool. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, backup/restoration/migration of user data, Smart Hands support for networking, server, and telecommunications, printer and peripheral device support, and inventory management of IT assets. The role requires the ability to research KB articles, work on-call and after-hours, potentially provide Executive support, and perform other deskside service tasks. Availability to support other client locations may be required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years corporate deskside support or equivalent experience
  • Willing to embrace innovative tools and technology such as AI and IT health monitoring software
  • Excellent troubleshooting capability
  • Ability to maintain composure while handle challenging, dynamic, rapid-response user support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 suite
  • Experience with computer imaging software and data migration processes (e.g., SCCM, Intune)
  • Experience with endpoint protection and encryption (Bitlocker) support
  • Familiarity with using remote desktop support tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain valid driver's license
  • Walk, bend, stand for prolong periods of time, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Physical presence at a Stefanini or Client location during shift
  • Demonstrate high level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
  • Maintain neat and professional work area and appearance in compliance with site policies
  • Ability to pass standard panel drug screening and background check
  • Adhere to assigned shift schedule
