About The Position

As a Deskside Support Specialist, your primary role will be to provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, remote desktop, and mobile devices. You will ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • 2-4 years’ experience in technical support role
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 11, MAC OS, iOS, Android, Office 2016 and M365 suite, Active Directory Administration, Citrix and Virtual PC environments or a combination of.
  • Ability to be on call on a rotational basis.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field.
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance, or willing and able to obtain a clearance.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
  • Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with Visio.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
  • Monitor tickets & workflows and in accordance with team’s SLAs.
  • Create documentation where documentation is absent.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts.
  • Troubleshoots Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Support.
  • Utilize remote user support tools to provide support.
  • Provide M/S applications support (Exchange/Outlook, Office, Visio, etc.).
  • Perform (advanced) Windows 11, and MAC OS troubleshooting.
  • Perform (basic) Linux troubleshooting (Ubuntu and Rocky).
  • Provide mobile device and service support.
  • Provide Service Desk escalations.
  • Perform physical hardware setup and tear down.
  • Image systems and deploy software through SCCM.
  • Provide rotational 24/7 on-call support.
  • Maintain a high level of customer-service in all situations.
