About The Position
Join the Paul Davis Team as a Desk Estimator! This in-office role at our Cleveland location focuses on preparing scopes and estimates for reconstruction and emergency services. You will be responsible for creating estimates using Xactimate software from 3D scans and Project Director scopes, collaborating with clients for estimate and invoice approval, and ensuring higher win rates through accurate and competitive bids. Requirements
- Experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Customer Service experience.
- Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer).
- Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, Symbility, MICA and additional systems as requested.
- Ability to create documents.
- Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face.
- Ability to work independently and / or with a team.
- Ability to participate in an on-call schedule.
- Ability to work within hazardous environments safely.
- Maintain a level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face.
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 80% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer.

Responsibilities
- Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
- Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility (as required).
- Utilize internal review process.
- Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
- Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment.
- Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
