About The Position

Join the Paul Davis Team as a Desk Estimator! We are seeking a motivated individual to prepare scopes and estimates for reconstruction and emergency services. This in-office role involves scoping losses, creating estimates using Xactimate software, and securing projects. The primary responsibilities include generating estimates from 3D scans and Project Director scopes, and collaborating with clients for estimate and invoice approval. Requirements

Experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
Customer Service experience.
Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer).
Customer Service Skills.
Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, Symbility, MICA and additional systems as requested.
Ability to create documents.
Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face.
Ability to work independently and / or with a team.
Ability to participate in an on-call schedule.
Ability to work within hazardous environments safely.
Maintain a level of confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail, reducing errors and omissions.
Ability to create more competitive and professional bids faster.
Ability to free up project managers to focus on active jobs.

Responsibilities

Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility (as required).
Utilize internal review process.
Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment.
Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
