Position Summary The Designer assesses engineering requirements and translates them into technical blueprints, drawings, layouts, and simulation models using CAD/CAM/CAE software. The position applies standard CAD/CAM/CAE techniques to digitize, edit, and revise engineering drawings of components, parts, and assemblies and customizes CAD/CAM/CAE software to model complex or unusual designs. The Designer will work remotely and must be able to report onsite as needed to the Materials and Fuels Complex at Idaho National Laboratory. MFC operates on a 4x10 schedule consisting of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time.
