Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in interior design, architecture or similar, preferably within the real estate industry
  • Strong FFE experience
  • Sound design drawing knowledge and ability to review and redline drawings
  • Knowledge of general workflow and processes for construction and design
  • Effective communication (verbal and written)
  • Professional presentation

  • Technical problem-solving skills
  • Architectural and interior technical skills with a high attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Vice President with the strategic collaboration and coordination among both cross-functional teams and external consultants/vendors to realize design project goals and the facilitation of the interior design process through all stages of design.
  • Performs thorough reviews of design drawings and submissions to include the viability of design intent; ensures design compliance and integrity; and provides feedback regarding design, layouts and FFE to the interior design team.
  • Oversees design punch list review and quality control; manages FFE, OS&E and art program selection; conducts product research and sample procurement; and performs AutoCad drafting tasks and 3D modeling.
  • Participates in OAC and coordination meetings to include MEP, structure, and code compliance; the construction administration process; and the submittal, RFI, and SK process.
  • Collaborates with the marketing and sales team to create sales and marketing materials for projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
