About The Position

General Motors is seeking an Engineering Designer to join its Engine Team and support the development of next-generation propulsion systems. The role involves creating high-quality Siemens NX math models, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and supporting the design and integration of engine components and subsystems. The position is hybrid, with on-site work at the Warren Tech Center at least three days per week, or at another frequency determined by the manager. It is not eligible for relocation assistance. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-driven, and passionate about product excellence, virtual design, and supporting engineering teams. They will help deliver high-quality, on-time math releases, communicate project status and technical issues, and pursue ongoing learning and skill development. General Motors does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role, including direct sponsorship or other company support for work authorization. GM describes a vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion and emphasizes inclusion, belonging, and equal employment opportunity. Applicants may be required to complete role-related assessments or pre-employment screening. Reasonable accommodations are available to job seekers with disabilities.
