About The Position

The Designer, Landscape & Horticulture supports the Project Manager, Landscape & Horticulture and the Director, Design in developing, executing, and documenting interior and exterior landscape and horticulture schemes. Under the Project Manager’s direction, the Designer prepares landscape and planting studies; contributes to concept, schematic, and design development packages; and communicates design intent through sketches, scaled drawings, and digital models. The role also prepares and maintains plant, planter, and hardscape specifications; reconciles quantities and budget counts; and performs first-pass review and tracking of RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings through construction administration. The Designer coordinates with the WDD Al Marjan Island project office across time zones, Purchasing, and external landscape consultants, nurseries, and contractors. The role supports the development and interdisciplinary coordination of landscape design documents and specifications, helping ensure high-quality design representation for the project team. During construction administration, the Designer supports the Project Manager from the WDD Las Vegas office and may attend site occasionally as required.
