The Designer, Intermediate is responsible for the daily design and technical development of architectural building projects, coordinating all aspects of project document development and delivery. This role collaborates with all integrated design project team members to produce quality work products while adhering to project schedules, project budgets, and work plans. DLR Group is an integrated design firm delivering architecture, engineering, interiors, planning, and building optimization for new builds, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field
  • 6 years’ professional experience with architectural design
  • Demonstrated proficiency with: Revit
  • Bluebeam
  • Architecture software including AutoCAD and Designer Pages Pro
  • 3D visualizing software including Enscape, SketchUp, and Lumion Render
  • Technical design aspects of assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s need
  • Design techniques, tools and sustainable design principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, drawings, reports, models and related deliverables
