About The Position

Join Hovercraft to create high-profile, culturally influential work for leading brands. Projects include design and illustration for campaigns, story-driven environments, immersive digital installations, and browser-based experiences.
The role requires originating bold concepts while working within brand systems. Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team and work independently with confidence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work
• A collaborative team player that is highly motivated, pro-active and positive.
• Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines across multiple projects in a remote work setting.
• You must be eligible to work in the US as a 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

• Take ideas from concept through final handoff alongside creatives, technologists, producers, and leadership.
• Develop original design directions and refine work within established brand guidelines and visual centers.
• Combine conceptual thinking with strong craft and attention to detail while being responsible for the completeness of your work.
• Adapt to different brand styles and visual directions, spotting opportunities for unexpected interactive, environmental, or animation outputs.
• Find outside inspiration, and bring new thinking and ideas into the studio.
