About The Position
Want to design and improve Fort Wayne's water systems while working part-time? This role involves collecting, analyzing, and verifying project data for water system improvements, drafting construction plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design software, and assisting with planning, design, and construction engineering projects under supervision. The position also requires managing project documentation and PMIS records, including permits and easement acquisition, and coordinating with City staff and Capital Project Services to resolve project issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Knowledge of hydraulics, hydrology, and engineering design principles
- Strong computer skills, including drafting and spreadsheet software
- Valid Indiana Driver's License
