Requirements

• 5-10 years’ experience in retail, commercial, and mixed-use projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling (Sketchup), Adobe Suite
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Knowledge in material selections & finishes, construction methods, building systems

Responsibilities

• Develop initial design concepts, produce presentation drawings and communicate design ideas clearly and effectively via software or hand-sketching
• Develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Interface with clients, make presentations, collaborate with other disciplines.
• Manage multiple project priorities effectively within schedules and budgets.
• Incorporate applicable codes, safety standards and governmental regulations into design work
• Supports project phases from initial design concepts through project completion.
• Coordinates between internal team, client, consultants, and regulatory agencies during the entitlement process.
