The Designated Coordinator is responsible to supervise services for people with disabilities within one or more specific programs. The Designated Coordinator will supervise services for one to four consumers and may supervise several locations. The Designated Coordinator is responsible for direct care and support services for consumers in their assigned designated(s) staffing, financial management, physical plant, and consumer and community relations. Schedules are assigned by the District Manager and must remain flexible to allow for direct supervision of services during all hours and all shifts. Designated Coordinators must be available at all hours to respond in the event of an emergency. Additional, non-scheduled hours may be required. The Designated Coordinator is a supervisor and is responsible for the supervision of Assistant Designated Coordinators, Direct Care Staff, and other service personnel assigned. Above all, the Designated Coordinator is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of the people served. The Designated Coordinator is paid hourly and is typically a full time position. Hours are based on the needs of the consumers and the home.
