The Designated Coordinator is responsible for supervising services for people with disabilities across one or more specific programs and locations, typically for one to four consumers. This role involves direct care and support services, managing staffing, financial aspects, physical plant, and consumer and community relations. The coordinator's schedule is flexible to allow for direct supervision across all hours and shifts, and they must be available at all times for emergencies, with additional non-scheduled hours potentially required. As a supervisor, the Designated Coordinator oversees Assistant Designated Coordinators, Direct Care Staff, and other service personnel. The primary responsibility is to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served. This is an hourly, full-time position, with hours determined by the needs of consumers and the home.
