The Designated Coordinator is responsible for supervising services for individuals with disabilities across one or more specific programs and locations, typically overseeing one to four consumers. This role involves direct care and support services, staffing, financial management, physical plant oversight, and consumer and community relations. The position requires flexibility to supervise services across all hours and shifts, with availability to respond to emergencies at all times. As a supervisor, the Designated Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Assistant Designated Coordinators, Direct Care Staff, and other service personnel. A primary responsibility is to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of the people served. This is an hourly, full-time position, with hours determined by the needs of the consumers and the home.
