The Designated Coordinator is responsible for supervising services for people with disabilities within one or more specific programs. This role involves supervising services for one to four consumers and potentially several locations. The Designated Coordinator is responsible for direct care and support services, staffing, financial management, physical plant operations, and consumer and community relations. Schedules are assigned by the District Manager and require flexibility to allow for direct supervision during all hours and shifts. The Designated Coordinator must be available at all hours for emergency response, and additional non-scheduled hours may be required. As a supervisor, this role oversees Assistant Designated Coordinators, Direct Care Staff, and other assigned service personnel. The primary responsibility is to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served. This is typically a full-time, hourly position with hours determined by consumer needs.
