About The Position

The Design Technology Manager utilizes excellent understanding of the design and technical document production process to act as a central resource within the office. Duties and Responsibilities include providing training and support to project teams, collaborating in the development and implementation of BIM Project Execution Plans, improving quality and productivity by setting and auditing model integrity of building information models, ensuring the office is at the forefront of emerging trends and in compliance with NORR standards, and researching and providing recommendations on additional software and technologies. The role also involves providing input and insight in the development of firm-wide common templates, libraries, and other resources by acting as a local office representative on the global Design Technology Committee.

Requirements

  • Successfully completing related post secondary education in Architecture or Engineering
  • Architectural or Engineering software skills; e.g., Revit, and AutoCAD
  • Revit family creation

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to the project teams
