About The Position

The Design Technician prepares layouts, generates manufacturing files, updates documentation, and assists internal testing activities. This role ensures engineering intent is accurately translated into manufacturable designs while contributing to continuous improvement and business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD, or other design software.
  • Ability to design and produce terminal block labels, phenolic tags, and other panel identification markers.
  • Skill in generating and managing manufacturing files.
  • Capability to assist with internal testing activities.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate project documentation, revision histories, and drawing packages.
  • Ability to support the creation and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOM) under engineer direction.
  • Skill in reviewing engineering documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Apply redlines and updates from customers, Design Engineers, or Quality teams in EPLAN, AutoCAD, or other design software.
  • Design and produce terminal block labels, phenolic tags, and other panel identification markers.
  • Generate and manage manufacturing files for production use.
  • Assist with internal testing activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, revision histories, and drawing packages.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOM) under engineer direction.
  • Assist Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams by reviewing engineering documentation.
