About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Design Technician to join their Building Structures team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role involves using basic computer drafting software to create site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects. The technician will be responsible for designing and producing plan sets, implementing and managing Revit/AutoCAD drafting standards, assisting in maintaining the drawing database, and performing routine data accuracy checks. The position also requires developing familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree preferred
• Proficiency in Revit preferred

Responsibilities

• Use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects
