Design Technician I

MedtronicLafayette, CO
Onsite

About The Position

At Medtronic, you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. Medtronic’s Lafayette campus supports more than 6 R&D groups developing lifechanging medical technologies used in spinal and neurosurgery, robotics Ligature, patient monitoring, and advanced imaging. We are seeking a Design I Technician to join our Advanced Measurement Lab (AML), an area specializing in industrial CT scanning, CMM metrology, and precision measurement of prototype medical devices. No two days look the same here — our technicians are hands‑on problem solvers who support engineers developing the next generation of medical innovation. This role is intentionally structured as an “apprenticeship style” opportunity — perfect for someone self‑driven, curious, and eager to build a long‑term technical career. This is a rare opportunity to enter a highly specialized technical pathway with significant growth and development support, including formal training, on‑the‑job mentorship, and 100% tuition coverage through Medtronic’s MAPS program. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5 pm.
