About The Position
BCI, a leader in the women's fashion industry since 1975, is seeking a Design Tech with experience in women's sweaters. This role will support the design team in creating product development tech packs. BCI operates a multi-brand platform business with brands including CeCe, Vince Camuto, Ted Baker, 1.State, and Parker, all committed to quality and style. The company is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and women's empowerment through fashion.
Requirements
- Min 2+ in sweater design experience mandatory
- Associate degree in Fashion Design required
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office
- Strong skills in Excel, PLM Centric experience is ideal
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of sweater construction, GG, and stitches.
- Create techpacks for new development – using store bought samples and inspiration images.
- Organized team player looking to work within a fast paced sweater team.
- Good communication working with designers on what the overall look is expected.
- Use reference specs from best seller and work with designers on creating updates.
