About The Position

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting STV’s mission to deliver innovative solutions for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) projects. You will act as a key technical resource, bridging the gap between cutting-edge design technologies and project delivery. This includes configuring, maintaining, and optimizing AEC software and licensing to meet the demands of a growing portfolio of impactful projects. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in managing AEC software solutions in a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise are highly valued and welcomed
  • Proficiency in software packaging and deployment tools, with familiarity in SCCM or similar platforms preferred
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard software suites, including Autodesk, Bentley, and ESRI, with a strong understanding of their implementation, support, and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including municipal, state, and consulting clients, to understand project requirements and align technology solutions accordingly
  • Install, configure, and maintain AEC software across both stand-alone computers and STV’s VMware desktop environments
  • Manage software licensing and ensure compliance across all supported platforms, including Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, and others
  • Proactively engage with software vendors to resolve technical issues, secure updates, and explore innovative solutions
  • Provide budgetary recommendations for software procurement and licensing to ensure the team remains ahead of evolving project demands
  • Contribute to the standardization and optimization of workflows, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor for design and technical teams, providing expert guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and implementation
