About The Position

One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for a Design System Lead, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. The partner is consolidating fragmented interface patterns across several products. You will lead the design system as a shared product, aligning design and engineering on components, accessibility, contribution and a roadmap grounded in real team needs. Design is embedded in product and service decisions rather than added after scope is fixed. The team expects evidence, accessibility and implementation constraints to be considered from the beginning and revisited after release. You will join a multidisciplinary team and move between discovery, design, delivery and learning after launch. The partner expects assumptions to be made visible, prototypes to answer real questions and design decisions to remain understandable when they reach engineering and operations. This is a leadership role with responsibility for direction, governance and the capability of others. You will create enough structure for teams to move independently while stepping into detail when risk or ambiguity demands it. The partner wants visible ownership without unnecessary hierarchy.

Requirements

• Extensive product design or design system experience.
• Strong component, interaction and visual design knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate deeply with frontend engineers.
• Experience establishing governance across several teams.
• Practical accessibility expertise.
• Professional English and persuasive facilitation skills.

• Storybook or comparable component documentation.
• People or programme leadership.
