Assists the Design Manager in overseeing the work of the design team ensuring drawings are error free and completed on time. Schedules work assignments. Reviews and approve drawings. Trains new designers. This role also involves supervising assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The supervisor provides leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
