Looking to join a concept store in downtown Toronto to provide exceptional service to customers? Are you highly motivated with a design background and 1- 2 years of retail sales experience in home fashions and products? Requirements

1-2 years of retail sales experience in home fashions and products.
Relationship Building: Encourage collaboration and are a team player who can develop and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and customers alike.
Communication: Proficient at active listening. Comfortable presenting information and able to respond to questions.
High energy and an outgoing personality with a strong customer service and sales focus are critical.

Nice To Haves

Design background.
Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in retail, graphic and industrial design would be an asset.
Proven sales ability in a retail environment (housewares and quality giftware) and an interest or background in fashion.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and show customers products that fit their needs.
Assist with achieving targeted sales results.
Be the authority on Umbra products, sharing the story behind the brand and each design.
Promote company vision and core values through providing exemplary customer care.
Act as a Brand Ambassador by being positive, friendly, honest, respectful and professional.
Deliver excellent customer service to positively impact brand loyalty, purchase and repeat visits.
Participate in receiving and merchandising (this includes lifting heavy boxes).
Follow up with customers regarding orders upon arrival and check the hold room.
Maintain a neat, organized and on-brand environment by cleaning store interior, washrooms, windows and patio.
