Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
10+ years of sprinkler design experience is required.
5+ years of experience in a management position is required.
Knowledge and experience with AutoSprink and/or HydraTec systems is required.
Experience with Navisworks and basic knowledge of Revit is required.
Knowledge of NFPA guidelines is required.
The ability to travel to costumer sites by plane or vehicle is required.
The ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results is required.
Building positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management is required.
Demonstrating integrity and professionalism is required.
Demonstrating commitment to company values is required.
Excellent organizational skills is required.
Ability to follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner is required.

Nice To Haves

NICET Certification Level I is a plus.
A degree from an accredited college or university is a plus.

Responsibilities

Attend or conference on sprinkler design meetings as needed.
Review drawings in design phase, prior to submittal, post AHJ review and pre-Stock listing as required.
Will assist layout technicians in all SA Comunale offices.
Follow through with all design items to be completed for each project.
Coordinate with sales, project managers, and designers to obtain required information on projects.
Provide technical design guidance to owners, architects, general contractors, and Comunale staff members as needed.
Help resolve any design issues that occur on projects being completed as needed.
Provide training for new design trainees as needed.
Complete red line drawings to ensure they meet code, contract, and Comunale standards.
