AECOM is currently seeking a Design Project Manager that will work on behalf of the client to oversee projects design development from planning, scoping, design, and bid. This role involves managing the project development during pre-design and design phases, overseeing consultant contracts, and ensuring design deliverables progress through bid and construction. The Design Project Manager will also provide technical review of design documents, perform high-level reviews for scope conformance, manage value engineering and constructability reviews, and offer technical assistance to the Owner and client representatives. This position requires coordination with Project Management to resolve issues, utilization of client software, providing design/schedule updates, performing investigations, consulting with regulatory agencies, monitoring consultant services, preparing reports, acting as a liaison, and arranging/conducting field inspections.
