About The Position

At HNTB, this role contributes to infrastructure projects by handling specific technical architectural design aspects of assigned projects. The Design Professional II investigates and evaluates design options, recommends solutions that meet client needs, and performs assignments under direction with limited responsibility for design. The position provides architectural consulting in project planning, design, and coordination; applies architectural principles across a broad range of assignments; and carries technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating architectural design work. The role also develops new or improved techniques and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. The position is located in Tampa, Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Revit skills.

• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong architectural design and graphic presentation skills.

• Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional architectural consulting in the planning, design, and coordination of project assignments.
• Recommend design alternatives and support or make decisions on architectural design problems and methods.
• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate architectural design assignments.
• Investigate and evaluate design options and recommend solutions that meet client needs.
• Apply architectural principles and concepts to assigned work and develop new or improved techniques and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
