About The Position

The Design Production Manager is responsible for leading the design, planning, and execution of modernization initiatives across various systems, processes, or infrastructure. This individual leverages strategic vision, innovative design methodologies, and collaboration to drive transformational objectives, ensuring that all designs align with project requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 7–10 years of experience in project management, modernization projects, business transformation, or equivalent roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale multi-site network modernization efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in process optimization, systems design, or infrastructure upgrades.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data-driven decision-making principles and supporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, especially in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adept at managing competing priorities and deadlines in complex environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement certifications.
  • Relevant technical certifications based on the project's focus area.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Planning: Develop and implement end-to-end design processes.
  • Conduct assessments of existing processes, systems, or workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for transformation.
  • Create detailed blueprints, roadmaps, and requirement documents for proposed network modernization solutions.
  • Innovation and Execution: Lead the development of innovative strategies and frameworks to modernize legacy systems or processes.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies or methodologies to achieve modernization objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional design teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, and performance metrics to monitor progress.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies throughout the modernization lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of designs with business objectives.
  • Communicate modernization goals, project updates, and challenges to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Work closely with external contractors, consultants, or vendors when necessary.
  • Compliance and Standardization: Ensure all designs adhere to applicable industry standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Establish documentation standards, workflows, and quality assurance processes to ensure design consistency and scalability.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop KPIs and benchmarks to measure the success of design initiatives.
  • Provide detailed progress and performance reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Recommend process improvements based on performance data and feedback.
