Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by June 2027.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret or Top Secret clearance.
  • Selected candidate will be subject to security investigations/reinstatements and must meet eligibility requirements.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and make sound, well informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with Solidworks is a plus.
  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design and development activities, including implementation of specifications and development of performance or maintenance requirements.
  • Participate in the execution of tests for systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Participate in the analysis of test results in relation to design and test objectives.
  • May evaluate and analyze various mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Evaluate installations and recommend design modifications.
