The NY Substation Engineering & Design department is committed to delivering on our promises and producing the highest quality substation designs. In this role you will manage the Substation Electrical Design group ensuring design quality, project milestones are met, consistent implementation of standard designs and digital tools, and play a key role in developing our union team members. Job Purpose: The Substation Design Manager leads and directs the effective scheduling, planning, organization and deployment of design resources supporting the delivery of capital projects of electrical substations. Projects may include asset replacements, substation expansions, protection system upgrades, new greenfield and/or brownfield substation sites, etc.
