About The Position

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. We deliver sustainable innovations that elevate everyday products. The Taste Business Unit is responsible for crafting unique, technology-enabled flavor designs that define the identity of food and beverage brands, shape trends in flavor creation, and drive customer success. This role is based in Philadelphia, PA, and requires working onsite in the lab/pilot plant five days per week. Travel is up to 30% as required. This is an Anchor role within a customer-focused, innovative, and collaborative team driving growth and delivering meaningful impact for customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or a related discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology)
• 15+ years of experience in the industrial food, ingredient, or flavor industry
• 5+ years of experience in dairy specialization
• Proven experience leading cross-functional and interdepartmental teams
• Strong understanding of dairy applications, product development, and commercialization
• Balanced technical expertise and commercial awareness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dairy technical team to deliver best-in-class technical and application support for TastePoint customers
• Drive project execution by effectively allocating technical resources to support category strategy and regional business objectives
• Partner closely with Flavorists and Sensory Scientists to deliver end-to-end product development and positive customer experiences
• Provide technical leadership to support successful commercialization of new dairy flavors and advancement of IFF technologies
• Anticipate, investigate, and resolve technical challenges related to raw materials, formulations, finished products, and scale-up activities
• Actively monitor market trends to bring new concepts, insights, and innovative solutions to life
• Communicate effectively with customers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders on project status, priorities, and market needs
• Mentor team members by supporting skill development, increasing responsibility, and long-term career growth
