Fluidstack is seeking a Design Management Lead to oversee design management across their build portfolio. This role involves managing all site design deliverables, consultants, and review cycles under a unified operating model. The Capacity Delivery Team is responsible for engineering gigawatts from drawing to energized status in months, not years, and designing data centers that can be built rapidly. They aim to engineer data centers that go up in months, not years, where rework is not an option and problems must be caught on paper. The team also focuses on designing it once and building it a hundred times, ensuring lessons learned from each site are incorporated into the reference design for future builds. The Capacity Delivery Team works on key problems such as engineering gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years. They own technical execution across every build, including drawings, field questions, and engineering calls to keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving. They also engineer data centers that go up in months, not years, emphasizing that rework is not an option and problems must be caught on paper or they will cost a data hall. The team's philosophy is to design it once and build it a hundred times, with each site's lessons rolling into the reference design on the way to 50GW+, so each build starts ahead of the last.
