About The Position

This position is 100% onsite; no remote or hybrid option is available at this time. More Specific Duties Include: Assist the Integrated Manufacturing Process & Product Design Team (IMPPDT) in analyzing turbine engine component designs, reviewing corrective action requests (CARs), and supporting redesigns for manufacturability and cost savings. Work with engineers, designers, suppliers, and manufacturing staff to help develop product designs that meet performance, operational, and customer requirements. Assist in evaluating materials, tooling, and production processes to support efficient manufacturing methods for new and existing products. Help research customer requirements, industry standards, and operational considerations to support design alternatives, prototypes, and testing. Support creation of product designs, layouts, launch plans, tooling strategies, and documentation needed for production. Participate in process development activities, including DRs, CARDs, engineering updates, PPAP activities, and production-readiness checks. Assist in identifying, documenting, and managing nonconforming components according to quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • U.S. or Foreign Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or a closely related field)
  • Two (2) years of experience in the manufacturing of aerospace gas turbine engines.
  • Two (2) years of applied engineering focused on aerospace gas turbine engines.
